Overweight load fined more than $31,000 in Pennsylvania »

A state police crackdown on overweight trucks in Pennsylvania is going too far, according to one truck company’s owners. Latona Trucking of Wyoming, PA, was recently fined more than $31,000 for a permitted load that was 14,000 pounds heavier than the permit allowed.
