Illinois bill would bump rural interstate speeds to 70 mph »

Only months removed from boosting speeds for large trucks, Illinois state lawmakers are looking at letting all drivers on many interstates go a little faster. OOIDA would prefer that lawmakers first focus on eliminating speed limit differentials on remaining interstates not affected by the 2009 law.

Tennessee opens up APU rebate program to truck owners »

Truck owners in Tennessee have the opportunity to obtain up to $4,000 in grant rebates to install an APU on their trucks. The program, run by the University of Tennessee, will provide 50 percent of the cost to purchase and install an APU, with a cap of $4,000.
